Lokermining - PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk is an Indonesian mining holding company based in Jakarta. It explores, extracts, and produces gold, silver, copper, and other minerals through its subsidiaries located across three islands in Indonesia. In addition to its mining operations, Merdeka also has a subsidiary specializing in mining construction services.

Merdeka manages two mining sites: the Tujuh Bukit Gold Mine in Banyuwangi, East Java, and the Wetar Copper Mine on Wetar Island, Southwest Maluku.

The company is currently undertaking several projects. One of these is the Tujuh Bukit Copper Project, an underground copper mine in Banyuwangi. This project holds one of the largest untapped copper deposits globally. Merdeka is also developing the Pani Gold Project in Gorontalo, Sulawesi, which is expected to become a major primary gold mine in Indonesia.

In line with its commitment to green energy, Merdeka established Merdeka Battery Materials (MBM). MBM is a significant player in the nickel industry, providing raw materials for batteries used in electric vehicles worldwide. It operates two smelters in the Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP), a nickel mining project, and is involved in the development of the Indonesia Konawe Industrial Park, including one of its factories. MBM is also responsible for overseeing the AIM (Acid, Iron, Metal) Project, a mineral processing plant at IMIP, which will process the remaining mineral ore from the Wetar Copper Mine.

GEOSCIENCE APPLICATION DEVELOPER (GAD)

Placement : Jakarta

Qualification :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Geoscience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in web-based application development, experience in the mining industry is an advantage
• Have strong coding skills and experience with Python, SQL, and GDAL for 1-3 years
• Proficient in using up-to-date front-end languages such as but not limited to: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Proficient in using back-end languages such as Java or PHP, familiar with RESTful API, and familiar with Docker.
• Able to support daily site activities and program planning regarding geospatial data process and workflow optimization

Qualification :

• Having experience in SQL Server and/or programming language is a plus.
• Having experience with process mapping and documentation, workflow design and information tracking is a plus.

Qualification :

• Bachelor's Degree in Geology/Earth Science
• Minimum 15 years of geological and resource estimation experience
• Highly developed leadership and communication skills, and able to develop and maintain effective working relationships
• Demonstrated experience training and mentoring technical staff in geostatistics, geological modeling, and resource estimation methods.
• Directly manage/perform mineral resource estimations (linear and non-linear)
• Expert user of geological modeling packages and geostatistical software.
• Effective delegation skills, with demonstrated ability to manage team deliverables.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, with the ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
• Ability to influence workflows across diverse teams so that project and operational timelines are met.

QAQC GEOLOGIST (QCG)

Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Geology/Earth Science
• Minimum 3-5 years of exploration/operation geology experience
• Broad-based knowledge and understanding of gold, copper, and nickel mining operations and processing technology
• Ensuring consistent QAQC data acquisition and compilation across the group.
• Providing QAQC data analysis and monthly reporting
• Able to evaluate new technologies to improve QAQC performance.
• Able to conduct regular scheduled and unscheduled audits of both internal and external sample preparation and analytical laboratories, and implement and follow up corrective action plans
• Industry best practice - Keeping informed of and implementing improvements in QAQC and laboratory management from the wider industry.
